Sarah McGaughey Named New Defender Services Branch Manager
Sarah McGaughey has been chosen to lead the Defender Services Branch and Alternative Sentencing Worker Program. Sarah received her B.A. in Social Work from Kentucky State University and a master’s degree from Campbellsville University. Sarah previously worked for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and most recently in the Office of Inspector General. Sarah has experience in conducting investigations regarding high-risk and near-fatality cases. She possesses expertise and experience in mental health treatment and substance abuse treatment and is excited about the challenges her new position will present. Sarah is eager to learn from DPA’s Alternative Sentencing Workers and will offer her talents to continue to improve the ASW program and to assist our clients in obtaining successful outcomes.
