Most public defenders in the trial division are supervised by a Directing Attorney that leads the office in which they work. Find Directing Attorney information here. Post-Trial Division Complaints
If your attorney is helping you with an appeal or a post-conviction, you will need to speak with an attorney in the Post-Trial Division.
- You should first speak with the attorney supervisor of that office. Find supervisors here.
- If the attorney supervisor cannot answer your concern, contact the branch manager of that office. Find branch managers here.
- If the Branch Manager cannot answer your question, contact the Post-Trial Division Director, Beth McMahon.
